Going to my moms:
My ISP decide to shut my connection again. I can’t deny that I can be a tardy customer, but in this case the situation was kinda hopeless. I got shut down not for beeing late with a bill, but for not paying the penalty fees in time. What makes the situation hopeless was that the bill for the penalty fees arrived after the connection was taken down. Call me old fashioned, but I’m used to things happening the other way around.
Basically this meant no connection for about a week…
It only took a few hours on the phone to clear the whole thing. That is, a few hours on the phone and enough frustration to power the western hemisphere for a day. But now it’s solved and everybody is happy.
Aside from that incident, I have decided to do a restart.
Averagelife has been sporadically published at best. I have had a very interesting year drawing, experimenting and figuring out how the comic should look. After the next couple of weeks, that will be as sporadic, all the old panels will go into a special dark dungeon-archive. This will be followed by the birth of the new and improved Averagelife which will be published, for starters, 3 days a week.
I will draw a proper “origins”, tied into the main comic, and it will evolve into a spin-off called “meanwhile in heaven”.
Since theres a heaven, theres also a hell.
“Meanwhile in hell” will be starring my local ISP operator.
