So, My sister is soon going away to Bosnia for a 6 month service for EUFOR (former united nations camp) and the peacekeeping forces down there.
Don't ask me how my little blond flightattendant of a sister ended up with brown hair and doing her military service, but I am so proud of her!
Mostly I am proud of the fact that she has turned 30 (congrats sis!) and still isn't afraid to challenge herself and do new and scary stuff.
Gina, lets never let our minds grow old.
Love you sis!

My sis is ready for combat, prolly smacking me for posting this photo.

For the last couple of days I have had the sneaky sensation that something big is going to happen. I feel like a kid on christmas eve, or the day before a big event. Something is just around the corner. A surprise. Something exiting and fun and good.

I went to bed last nite and ended up chatting with my boyfriend before going to sleep. The usual chat about the little things, about work and friends and politics.
My boyfriend smiled and told me he had the funny feeling that something big was about to happen. That it felt like walking around with a brand new little gadget in the bag, knowing that when you got home you could unwrap it, charge the batteries and feel fullfilled like only a new little technical gadget can make you feel.

We marveled at the fact that we both had the same feeling, ignored the fact that we could blame the weather and the spring beeing just around the corner.
Something big is about to happen. And its a nice feeling.
